Athletics

On Thursday 21st we had our School Athletics it was fun firstly my year group we had Discuss I made it pretty far but I could not beat my friend Maino he threw it far but I was close after we had Long Jump one of us nearly hit the wood and that was Liston then we moved onto High Jump I failed on the 2nd one because it was already high but not for some of my friends they were the last ones then after that we had Novelty Race it was funny because we had Potato Sack Races, Piggy Bag Races, and Frog Jump Races after all that workout we moved onto Relays it was fun and tiring at the same time because we had to do Star Jumps, Burpees, and Running then after that we had to Run because we were doing Sprints it was so tiring my legs could not even move that fast the Luckily we had our last Rotate of the day it was Shot put it was so fun because I got pretty far but I did not make it then in the 2nd block we did Sprints then in the 3rd block we did Tug of War but unfortunately we lost but it felt like we won.

Glen Taylors New Sign

At glen taylor we have a new big sign that we took a photo in front of it and it looks fabulous and it is fantastic it is big and it has Fire and Ace on it and it is bigger then the blue one and I think it has a elide light on top and it is cool when it shows word on it and I hoped you love reading it thank you and bye. 

2017 ROOM 9 ASSEMBLY

On Friday was room nine's assembly and I had a long speech and it was awesome how we did our assembly and room nine kids were fantastic out there and the assembly was quick as and I was talking about my athlete Dean Ambrose and it was fun and someone played how far I go on the piano and the audience had to guess it then this little boy name Logan got it and we had to dance and sing to the audience how far I go and it was cringe and I was shy a little and we had fun well doing our assembly and our assembly was a fantastic thing to do in the morning and it was fun when we did our speeches and we stand by together and took a bell and walked and went to sit back down so m.r can do the prizes and wrist bands and we did the last thing was the notices.

Last week in room nine wee did a poem about us and it was fantastic and here is my poem about me and you should read this and remember to be nice in whatever you do and my poem is fantastic read pls and remember to comment.

GLEN TAYLOR SCHOOL ATHLETICS

We had our school athletics on 14th of November on Tuesday and some of us signed up for high jump and year 3 to year 8 race and some of us are going to Tamaki collage to represent Glen Taylor and heaps of people got wet but we wore our mufti and we did a fun raise and Glen Taylor softball throw was awesome even the rugby shoe throw and tug of war and we had fun but of course he rain and storm and thunder came that day but we still had some fun and we manage to prank people with water and we did our battle of charnt.

Maritime Museum

Hi my name is Louis and Me and my class went on a trip to maritime museum it was a lot of fun and we had to look for some objects and we did it step by step and we had some cool things to look at and there were some stick gates and canoes there and we had to be in groups and it is fun there when the whole middle block went to the long fantastic trip and we came back to school and we had some fun time at school then we went home.

MATHS

We did maths in groups and we had to solve some problems by working together and we did it with the maths money and we did a and we did a country one and my group won and we did some hard maths and some easy maths and it is fun solving maths problems and it is good to be a good maths dude and we work together but we sometimes fight and the maths problems were mostly hard and we did some fantastic work at maths.
